Heavy Music Artwork Issue #3 Human
The third issue of Heavy Music Artwork is an introspective outlook on music and art. Rock and metal have a long tradition on existential questions. We have revisited the creative journey that our featured artists have taken, avoiding either an analytical or interpretative approach in order to give you the most honest, personal and intimate experience.
Metallica’s ‘Hardwired…’ lyrics served as inspiration. “We are so fucked, shit outta luck, Hardwired to self-destruct”. Are we humans really so destructive? Perhaps the abandonment of reason might lead to destructive consequences. Nevertheless, as human beings, this is our condition and, through our creative abilities, we connect with ourselves and others, and perhaps fill that void of which Sam Harris once spoke. Of course, what you are holding can only give you a glimpse of a very complex topic.
With this in mind, we have named this issue “Human”.
